Church Update
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
Ecclesiastes 3:1
Community United Methodist Church will be holding our last worship service at 950 Gould in Columbia Heights on Sunday, May 14 at 10:00 a.m. For 116 years, CUMC has served the Heights community, but the time has come for another faith community to call this city, and our building, home. We rejoice that we have found a new home with Faith UMC in St. Anthony, where we will continue to (to paraphrase John Wesley), “Do all the good that we can, as long as ever we can.”
I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. Ecclesiastes 3:12-13
